Gan is a deputy chief physician with a doctorate. He is currently a member of the Youth Group of the Laser Medicine Branch of the Chinese Medical Association, vice chairman of the Medical Aesthetics Branch of the Chongqing Maternal and Child Hygiene Association, a member of the Laser Medicine Professional Committee of the Chongqing Medical Association, and a member of the Dermatology and Venereology Professional Committee of the Chongqing Medical Doctor Association.

Medical diagnosis and treatment field and expertise: Gan is skilled at the diagnosis and treatment of allergic diseases such as atopic dermatitis, eczema, and urticaria, infectious dermatosis, psoriasis, and children's dermatosis, as well as all kinds of pigmented spots, pigmented nevus, acne, scars, congenital birthmarks, hemangioma, nevus flammeus, and other diseases that affect appearance. He is adept at aesthetic medical technologies including various lasers, radio frequency optoelectronic therapy, injections, photodynamic therapy, and more.

Published works and other projects: Gan has presided over one project at the provincial-ministerial level and one at the bureau-director level and published six papers collected by the Science Citation Index (SCI) and more than 20 domestic papers, including those collected by the Chinese Science Citation Database (CSCD).
