Tang is a postgraduate supervisor and chief physician who now serves as deputy director of the Ultrasonography Department. Tang is currently vice-chairwoman of the Ultrasound Therapy Branch of the Youth Committee of the Chinese Sonographer Engineering Association; vice-chairwoman of the Ultrasound Diagnosis and Interventional Therapy Professional Committee of the Chongqing Maternal and Child Hygiene Association; and a member of the Gynecological Intervention Group of the Ultrasound Intervention Professional Committee of the Interventional Physician Branch of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association.

Medical diagnosis, treatment field and expertise: Tang is skilled at ultrasound diagnosis and treatment in gynecology and obstetrics, boasting rich clinical diagnosis experience in gynecological pelvic floor, three-dimensional, contrast, infertility diagnosis, obstetric fetal malformation screening, and complex fetal congenital heart disease diagnosis, among others.

Published works and other projects: She has presided over one general project of the Chongqing Science and Technology Bureau, published three papers collected by the Science Citation Index (SCI), and more than 10 by the Chinese Science Citation Database (CSCD).
