Wei Jun
Wei is a chief physician who is currently a member of the Youth Committee of the Obstetrics and Gynecology Professional Committee of the Chinese Association of Medical Imaging Technology; a member of the Pediatric Professional Committee of the Chinese Ultrasound Medical Engineering Association; a member of the Chinese Reproductive Health and Eugenics Ultrasound Professional Committee; vice-chairwoman of the Pediatrics Professional Committee of the Chongqing Ultrasound Medical Engineering Association; and a member of the Prenatal Professional Committee.
Medical diagnosis, treatment field and expertise: Wei has been engaged in obstetrics and gynecology ultrasound imaging diagnosis for 17 years, and has studied in well-known prenatal diagnosis centers in Beijing, Shanghai and other places. She is one of the earliest ultrasound diagnostic physicians in Chongqing to carry out fetal system, heart, four-dimensional and NT ultrasound examinations. Wei is currently the leader of the prenatal diagnosis team of the department. She is skilled at ultrasonic diagnosis and the superconducting treatment of difficult superficial organ diseases in obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics, abdomen, cardiovascular and breast fields. She boasts rich experience in the ultrasonic diagnosis of ectopic gestation, differential diagnosis of benign and malignant gynecological tumors, malformation of female reproductive systems, prolapse of bladder and uterus, and fetal birth defects.
Published works and other projects: She has presided over three municipal and bureau-level scientific research projects, and served as a main researcher in five scientific research projects. The project "Study on the Correlation between Ultrasound Soft Indicators Combined with Serological Examination and Chromosomal Abnormalities", presided over by her, won the third prize in the Medical Science and Technology Achievement Awards of the Chongqing Health Commission. She has published 16 papers as the first or corresponding author, participated in the compilation of two books, and edited Practical Medical Imaging Basics and Diseases.
