Medical diagnosis and treatment field and expertise: Zhang is skilled at diagnosis and treatment of infertility, reproductive endocrine diseases, and common gynecology and obstetrics diseases, boasting rich clinical experience in the diagnosis and treatment of ovulation disorders and repeated implantation failures. She is proficient in assisted reproductive technologies such as artificial insemination and test-tube fertilization.

Published works and other projects: Zhang has participated in academic conferences at home and abroad many times and presided over one youth fund of the National Natural Science Foundation of China. She played a large role in two joint general projects of the Chongqing Municipal Health Commission and the Chongqing Municipal Science and Technology Bureau and led one multi-center study on endometrial receptivity testing. She has also published several articles collected by the Science Citation Index (SCI) and domestic core journals.
