As a deputy chief physician of TCM, Luo was a visiting scholar at the University of British Columbia in Canada. She is a member of the Standing Committee of the CPPCC (Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference) of Jiulongpo District, and is currently director of the Chongqing Acupuncture Society, and a member of the Tumor Professional Committee of the Chongqing Association of Chinese Medicine.

Medical diagnosis and treatment field and expertise: She is good at adopting TCM to aid the treatment of gynecological diseases such as infertility, abnormal uterine bleeding, polycystic ovary syndrome, and immune system and endocrine system diseases like allergic rhinitis, urticaria, diabetes, hypertension, and gout. She is also adept at using TCM to aid the treatment of tumors.

Published works and other projects: Luo has participated in two projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and presided over two projects at the Chongqing bureau-director level. She has applied for one national patent, published four papers collected by the Science Citation Index (SCI), and more than 20 domestic papers.
