Zhang is a deputy chief physician. She once studied at the Department of Endocrinology of the Children's Hospital Affiliated to Zhejiang University School of Medicine. She is currently a member of the Adolescent Medicine Branch of the Chongqing Medical Doctor Association, a youth member of the West China Pediatric Endocrinology, Genetics, and Metabolism Collaborative Group, as well as a member of the Children's Health Professional Committee of the Chongqing Maternal and Child Health Association.

Medical diagnosis and treatment field and expertise: Engaged in pediatric clinical work for 15 years, Zhang boasts unique experience in standardized clinic and project management of children's endocrine diseases. She is especially renowned for the diagnosis and treatment of endocrine diseases, including abnormal pubertal development, precocious puberty, short stature in children and adolescents, childhood obesity, as well as abnormal thyroid function in children.

Published works and other projects: Zhang has participated in a number of research projects, including those of the National Natural Science Foundation of China. She has published more than 10 papers, which have been collected by the Science Citation Index (SCI) and core journals.
