The National Health Commission released the list of members for the National Obstetrics Medical Quality Control Center and its expert committee on April 4.

Professor Qi Hongbo, from Chongqing Health Center for Women and Children (Women and Children's Hospital of Chongqing Medical University), or CQHCWC, in Southwest China's Chongqing, was once again selected as a member of the expert committee.

The committee members were selected by the medical administration department of the National Health Commission based on their previous work experience, and their term will last until Dec 31, 2025.

With a resident expert being selected as a national committee member, CQHCWC, as an affiliated hospital of the Chongqing Obstetrics Quality Control Center, will continue to enhance the quality of obstetrics care in Chongqing.

CQHCWC will continue to strengthen the management and control of obstetrics services throughout the city, and promote the coordinated development of regional obstetrics medical technology to ensure the safety of expectant mothers in Chongqing.
