A four-person delegation from the School of Public Health and Management of the Chongqing Medical University (CQMU) recently visited the Chongqing Health Center for Women and Children (Women and Children's Hospital of Chongqing Medical University), or CQHCWC, in Southwest China's Chongqing.

The delegation, led by the school's dean Qiu Jingfu, came to discuss cooperation with the center. Qi Hongbo, president of CQHCWC, Zhou Wei and Li Fang, vice-presidents of the center, as well as other representatives from various departments, attended the meeting.

Addressing the meeting, Qi introduced the center's historical evolution, business organization, and discipline construction, hoping that the School of Public Health and Management of CQMU will support the center's development in postgraduate training and scientific research, among other areas.

Qiu said that CQMU and CQHCWC have a strong foundation for cooperation in the field of public health, adding that he thinks the two could complement each other's strengths in talent training and scientific research, integrate resources, and achieve win-win development.

Representatives from both sides also conducted in-depth discussions and exchanges regarding postgraduate training, scientific research, teaching, discipline construction, and the joint establishment of a maternal and child health school.

Moving forward, CQHCWC will continue to explore new partnership models with universities so as to seek high quality development.
