CQHCWC comes second in municipal English contest

Sponsored by the Chongqing Municipal Health Commission and organized by the Chongqing Health Service Center, the final contest of the 2nd Chongqing Medical English Competition was held at the Chongqing Medical and Pharmaceutical College in Southwest China's Chongqing on July 29.
Attendees included Deng Li, deputy director of the Chongqing Municipal Health Commission, Lu Jin from the Foreign Affairs Office of the People's Government of Chongqing Municipality, and Consul Joseph Adams from the Consulate General of Canada in Chongqing.
The team from the Chongqing Health Center for Women and Children (Women and Children's Hospital of Chongqing Medical University), or CQHCWC, won second place.

Members included Song Sijie from the Neonatal Department, Yao Yao from the Pharmacy Department, and Zhou Wenke from the Eyes, Ears, Nose and Throat (EENT) Department, who participated in four contests, namely medical English speech, English film dubbing, medical English vocabulary, and an English talent show.
A total of 18 contestants from six units reached the finals after completing the preliminaries, and nearly 200 representatives from 44 medical and health units in the city watched the competition.
Moving forward, the CQHCWC will continue to discover, cultivate and reserve international medical professionals and deepen international exchanges and cooperation.
