Established in 2002, the College of Biomedical Engineering of Chongqing Medical University boasts the State Key Laboratory of Ultrasound in Medicine and Engineering, and it is the first college at Chongqing Medical University to confer doctoral degrees and part of the first batch of national first-class undergraduate program construction sites.

Moving forward, the CQHCWC will continue to promote university-hospital cooperation, implement an innovation-driven development strategy, and strive to complete the rapid transformation from a clinic-focused hospital to a teaching-focused one.
