The Chongqing Health Center for Women and Children (Women and Children's Hospital of Chongqing Medical University), or CQHCWC, in Southwest China's Chongqing, was recently recognized as part of the first batch of 43 "Wan Li Xing" project base construction units nationally. It is the first such base in Chongqing.

Wang Nianrong, director of the Children's Health Care Department, attended the project base online launch ceremony on June 10 on behalf of the CQHCWC.

The "Wan Li Xing" project, short for the "Maternal and Infant Health and Growing Up China Tour", is a large-scale maternal and child public welfare science promotion project sponsored by the Child Development Center of the National Committee for the Wellbeing of the Youth.

Carried out nationwide for six years, the project has gained widespread recognition. It aims to promote the high-quality development of the maternal and infant health cause by carrying out related lectures, and training related staff members and medical workers.

The CQHCWC plans to carry out a series of activities centered on project research, training, and the promotion of public welfare science to improve the quality of the municipality's maternal and infant health and contribute to the development of a healthy China.
