CQHCWC offers free clinical services on Women's Day

To celebrate this year's Women's Day, the Chongqing Health Center for Women and Children (CQHCWC) in Southwest China's Chongqing will launch free clinical services from 9:30 am to 11 am on March 8.

The free clinical services will be provided by experts at the outpatient hall of the CQHCWC's Ranjiaba branch, as well as online.

1. Obstetrics Department

Yang Yajun, deputy chief physician, has been working at the obstetrics department for more than 25 years and has rich clinical experience in treating common, frequently-occurring, and rare obstetrical diseases, as well as treating acute and critical diseases. She is skilled at antenatal care for gemellary pregnancy, health management during the perinatal period and various obstetric operations.

Yang will provide free health consultations, blood sugar tests and blood pressure tests.

2. Gynecological Pelvic Floor and Oncology Department

Sun Yuhan, deputy chief physician, has been engaged in the clinical application, education and research of gynecological pelvic floor and oncology for 12 years. She is experienced in treating common, frequently-occurring, and rare obstetrical diseases, especially gynecological pelvic floor, gynecological oncology and oncology urinary diseases. She is also skilled at performing gynecological minimally invasive surgery and pelvic floor reconstruction.

Sun will provide free health consultations and therapeutic plans for pelvic floor recovery.

3. Nutrition Department

Sun Hailan, deputy chief nutritionist and certified nutritionist, is head of the Nutrition Department and has been engaged in clinical maternal and child nutrition for 17 years. He is experienced in nutritional intervention and lifestyle management during the in-vitro fertilization process, weight management, nutritional requirements and support during pregnancy and childbirth, catch-up nutritional support for infants and young children with growth and development limitations, nutritional requirements for children with allergies, anorexia and sleep disorders, enteral nutrition support for patients with trauma or after major surgeries and those in the perioperative period, and nutritional support for patients with digestive tract diseases.

Sun will provide free health consultations, body fat tests, and nutrition plans.

4. Traditional Chinese Medicine Clinic

Fang Yi is an associate professor, postgraduate tutor and deputy chief physician of Chinese medicine at CQHCWC. He has been treating gynecological diseases with a combination of Chinese traditional and Western medicine for nine years. He is skilled at treating irregular menstruation, infertility, recurrent abortion, body conditioning before in-vitro fertilization, premature ovarian failure, perimenopausal syndrome, polycystic ovarian syndrome, and acne caused by high androgens with traditional Chinese medicine.

Fang will provide free health consultations, acupoint applications, and auricular-plaster therapy.

All women who attend the events offline will be eligible to receive gifts.

The CQHCWC also provides online scientific information.

1. Zhang Haiyan

Zhang is a deputy chief physician and head of the Women's Health Care Department at the CQHCWC. She has been engaged in women's health care for 23 years and is skilled at premarital health care, pre-pregnancy health care, postpartum health care, adolescent health care, and menopause health care.

2. Yang Jun

Yang is a chief physician and head of the CQHCWC's cervical disease diagnosis and treatment center. She has worked clinically in obstetrics and gynecology for 23 years, and is skilled at colposcopy diagnosis and conization of cervix.

Zhang and Yang will explain how to choose suitable human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccines and how to protect women's fertility.

At the cervical disease diagnosis and treatment center, which is located on the third floor's B area at the CQHCWC Ranjiaba branch, free microbiological examination, free colposcopy diagnosis, consultations for HPV vaccines and traditional Chinese medical services will be provided from 8 am to 12 am and 2 pm to 5:30 pm on March 8. All women who receive a gynecology physical examination, pre-pregnancy physical examination, early pregnancy physical examination, and postpartum physical examination at the Women's Health Care Department on March 8 from 8:30 am to 11:30 am and from 2 pm to 4 pm will have the chance to win gifts.
