The Chongqing Health Center for Women and Children, or CQHCWC – located in Southwest China's Chongqing – has launched a special-diseases appointment service for patients.

Utilizing an appointment method designed for specific diseases or symptoms, the service is disease-demand-oriented.

It aims to help patients see a doctor quickly, offering them convenient, accurate, fast and professional diagnosis and treatment services – giving full play to the professional expertise of physicians.

The service is said to highlight diseases the center is particularly proficient in, as well as effectively alleviate the difficulties of seeing a doctor for specific diseases.

Providing a whole-life cycle of health services for women and children, the CQHCWC has integrated common diseases, frequently occurring diseases and special diseases of multiple specialties. It is offering special-diseases appointment service for a variety of special diseases in obstetrics, gynecology, pediatrics and assisted reproduction.

For each type of disease, the center arranges one to three senior attending physicians and those with senior professional titles for consultation, with some physicians also available at weekends.

Qi Hongbo, Huang Guoning, Dan Yang, Zhou Wei and other well-known experts will also be available for special-diseases appointments.

Patients can make an appointment and register through the official WeChat account of the CQHCWC by doing as follows:

1. Go online to the official WeChat account of the CQHCWC (重庆市妇幼保健院)

2. Click "Medical Service" (就诊服务)

3. Select "Registration" (预约挂号)

4. Select "Special Diseases Registration" (专病挂号)

5. Select the corresponding "Special Disease" (专科疾病)

6. Choose "Ordinary Clinic" (普通号) or "Expert Clinic" (专家号) to make an appointment according to your needs
