CQHCWC encourages national-level project application

The Chongqing Health Center for Women and Children (CQHCWC) in Southwest China's Chongqing held a meeting on Oct 20 to conclude and commend projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China in 2021 and mobilize the application of projects for 2022.

The meeting was presided over by Ye Junying, director of the science and education department of the CQHCWC, and attended by more than 100 people, including Yang Zhu, vice-president of Chongqing Medical University, Zhou Wei, vice-president of the CQHCWC, and other representatives.

At the meeting, Zhou summarized the application of projects in 2021, and awarded certificates and souvenirs to the leaders of the two projects that were approved by the National Natural Science Foundation. He also deployed the application of projects for 2022.

Yang gave a lecture at the meeting, highlighting the importance of technology and innovation in the medical field. She also shared experience in the application of National Natural Science Foundation projects, ranging from the application process and evaluation process to key points of bid writing.

The meeting is believed to play a positive role in improving the quality of project application for scientific research personnel, and promoting new breakthroughs in CQHCWC's scientific research work.
