The Chongqing Health Center for Women and Children (CQHCWC) in Southwest China's Chongqing held a youth mental health activity on Oct 10 to mark the 30th World Mental Health Day.

More than 30 parents and children participated in the event to learn more about mental health. During the activity, participants shook hands and hugged, after which they introduced themselves, exchanged opinions, and played games.

Psychotherapists designed this to help children learn to listen, care about others, and help each other.

Participants also learned how to relax and reduce stress, improving their psychological adjustment abilities.

The event helped establish correct educational concepts for parents, build closer parent-child relationships, and improve mental health among teenagers.

Moving forward, the CQHCWC will strengthen mental health education for teenagers, further improve services, and contribute to the healthy growth of children and adolescents in the city.
