The Chongqing Health Center for Women and Children (CQHCWC) in Southwest China's Chongqing held a free medical consultation event for anaphylactic diseases in children on July 4.
The event attracted more than 100 children and parents. Doctors from CQHCWC's Pediatric Outpatient Department carried out physical examinations on children and answered parents' questions about anaphylactic rhinitis, allergic asthma, eczema, urticarial, atopic dermatitis, diarrhea, and anaphylactoid purpura.
Liu Xiaorong, deputy chief physician of pediatrics at CQHCWC, held a lecture to teach people about food allergies and how to feed and nurse babies with allergies. She also handed out health education pamphlets.
CQHCWC used the activity as an opportunity to provide professional medical services for children and teach people about anaphylactic disease prevention and treatment, giving children and parents a better understanding of anaphylactic diseases so as to prevent them in the future.
