CQHCWC experts guide menopausal women's health care work in Bishan

A delegation from Chongqing Health Center for Women and Children (CQHCWC) visited the maternal and child health care center in Bishan district of Chongqing on March 4 to survey and guide its work on menopausal women's health care.

Dan Yang, vice-president of CQHCWC and director of the hospital's menopausal health care specialist facility, and Lin Yi, director of CQHCWC's Gynecological Endocrinology Department, were among the delegation members.

The event aimed to promote resource sharing with grassroots maternal and child health care institutions, and improve the regional service level of women's menopausal health care.

Accompanied by Dong Lan, dean of the maternal and child health care center in Bishan, the delegation learned about the center's overall operation and held a meeting on deepening the construction of a menopausal health care specialist facility.

Dong gave a brief introduction to the center's development and said she expects that CQHCWC could support its development in talent team building, specialty cultivation and management and operation. She added that the two sides should seek joint development in promoting the regional construction of a menopausal health care specialty center.

Dan Yang spoke about the construction of the menopausal health care specialist facility at CQHCWC and said that the hospital would continue to play a leading role in sharing high-quality medical resources. It will also offer training to grassroots personnel and dispatch experts for consultation, helping maternal and child health care centers in districts and counties to improve their specialty capabilities and enhance their service level for women and children.
