Chongqing Health Center for Women and Children (CQHCWC) achieved outstanding results during the inspection and evaluation of Chongqing's health system, according to a recent announcement by the Chongqing Municipal Health Commission (formerly the Chongqing Municipal Health and Family Planning Commission).

Officials announced the health center's outstanding performance during the city's health work conference in 2021. CQHCWC ranked first for its comprehensive performance among units under the administration of the Chongqing Municipal Health Commission.

In addition, CQHCWC also received a collective award for poverty alleviation efforts. Xie Ping, chairman of the hospital's labor union, and Zhou Xiaojun, director of the group health work office, were both honored for their poverty alleviation efforts.

Embracing the honor, CQHCWC will continue to improve its maternal and child health services to guarantee women and children's health and promote the high-quality development of the maternal and child health sector.
