In order to enhance women's health care awareness and celebrate the upcoming Women's Day, medical workers from the Chongqing Health Center for Women and Children, or CQHCWC, were invited to the Qishan Road Community of Longshan sub-district in Yubei district, in Southwest China's Chongqing, to offer free clinical services to women on March 3.

Gynecologists and nursing staff members from the CQHCWC provided free services such as blood pressure and blood sugar measurements to female residents. They also shared knowledge of common gynecological diseases, and how to prevent frequently occurring diseases.

Doctors reminded female residents to pay attention to disease prevention and form the habit of getting physical examinations regularly. This will effectively prevent the occurrence or reoccurrence of diseases.

Residents thought highly of the two-hour activity, as it efficiently raised awareness for women's health care.
