Chongqing Health Center for Women and Children (CQHCWC) recently received the certificate of a "national civilized unit", marking the fifth consecutive time the hospital has received the honor.
The result was announced in November 2020 by the Central Spiritual Civilization Development Steering Commission.
As the highest honor of the nation's spiritual civilization construction, national civilized units are selected every three years by the commission. Those who have been honored with the title are reviewed to see if they merit keeping the title.
CQHCWC received the honor for the first time in 2008 and passed re-examinations in 2011, 2014, 2017 and 2020.
Embracing the honor, CQHCWC will promote technological innovation, management innovation and service improvement to provide safe, effective, convenient and warm medical and health services for women and children.
