To create a harmonious physician-patient relationship and promote healthcare knowledge, the Department of Gynecology at Chongqing Health Center for Women and Children (CQHCWC) held a fun health knowledge quiz activity on Dec 17, attracting the participation of more than 20 patients and their families.
The activity's topics included precautions for COVID-19 prevention and control, and the treatment and nursing of patients pre-operation, post-operation and during rehabilitation. The trivia topics were divided into three rounds and were intended to help patients and their families acquire more health knowledge.
Finally, one first-place prize, two second-place prizes, six third-place prizes and seven commemorative prizes were selected.
After the trivia concluded, nurses demonstrated the correct way to wear a mask and the six-step hand-washing method so that the patients could learn some practical skills in addition to the theoretical knowledge featured in the quiz.
In the future, CQHCWC will continue to explore a multiform health education mode to continuously improve and enhance patients' medical experience and health knowledge.
