Chongqing Health Center for Women and Children (CQHCWC) brought in the hysteroscopy simulator – GynoS in early November and launched the first hysteroscopy clinical skills training room in Southwest China.
At a training class subsequently held in the hospital, a GynoS expert conducted essential skills training on diagnosing and treating diseases using hysteroscopy for more than 20 gynecologists, resident physicians in standardized training, and advanced training physicians. The training was done through a lecture, simulation experience and hands-on practice.
Using GynoS' real-time three-dimensional computer graphics combined with a hands-on operation simulation, the trainees could fully understand and master the operating essentials of hysteroscopy.
The simulator's large number of training cases and clinical cases of common gynecological conditions provided trainees with a rich learning resource that helped them learn to utilize hysteroscopy.
In the future, the hospital will use the training room to improve the diagnosis and treatment levels of hysteroscopy in the region through special training classes.
