A medical expert team from the Chongqing Health Center for Women and Children (CQHCWC) offered a half-day free clinic for women in local communities on Nov 29, providing convenient and quality medical service for the masses.

The free clinic was carried out by the expert team led by Yang Jun, the deputy director of the Center for the Diagnosis and Treatment of Cervical Diseases under CQHCWC.

During the activity, the expert team answered questions about common gynecological problems, such as the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cervical diseases in women. The experts also responded to questions about HPV vaccines.

Doctors from the Department of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) took each attendees' pulse and made appropriate treatment recommendations.

The team also measured blood pressure and provided intimate wellness services on-site for those in need.

The activity is expected to improve people's awareness of cervical-related disease prevention. CQHCWC says it will continue to offer free clinics in local communities to popularize health knowledge among women in Chongqing.
