Chongqing Health Center for Women and Children (CQHCWC) held a special activity to popularize health science among kids at Green Baby Kindergarten on Oct 30. The average age of the 24 young participants was 4 years old.
Using model presentation, CQHCWC doctors explained the entire birth process to the young children. The medical professionals helped the kids develop a new appreciation for their mothers by answering the age-old question, "Where do babies come from?"
A nurse from the hospital played interactive games with kids to teach them about the importance of nutrition. The nurse used food-shaped teaching aids to help kids learn about different vegetables and their nutritional value, encouraging them to form a healthy diet.
CQHCWC will continue to develop health science popularization courses for children. The health center will expand its classes into schools and other campuses to spread essential health knowledge to more children.
