Training held in Chongqing on women's cancers

A training session on cervical and breast cancers, was held in Southwest China's Chongqing on Aug 19 -- aiming to ensure the completion of a women's cancer screening project and improve the quality of screenings in the whole city.

Sponsored by the Chongqing Municipal Health Commission with the assistance of Chongqing Health Center for Women and Children (CQHCWC), the training session was conducted simultaneously, both online and offline.

Some 240 health officials and medical professionals from 40 districts and counties of Chongqing participated in the session, both online and offline.

Addressing problems found in the cancer screen process, officials from the Chongqing Municipal Health Commission gave special lectures on the pathological diagnosis and the interpretation of results for cervical and breast diseases.

The officials from the Chongqing Municipal Health Commission and CQHCWC doctors interpreted and summarized the two cancers projects as well as the results of 2019 about the two cancers screening project in Chongqing.

The experts in various fields from a number of hospitals gave lectures and shared their experience on each aspect of the screening process in the project.
