The Chongqing Health Center for Women and Children (CQHCWC) -- in Southwest China's Chongqing -- took the lead in Chongqing to set up the IVF Pharmacist Outpatient Clinic, to offer patients guidance on the proper use of drugs during in vitro fertilization treatment. The CQHCWC answers all the common doubts of patients during IVF.

(1). Providing refined drug treatment management.

(2). Explaining the treatment plan, so that patients can fully understand the purposes and precautions of medication.

(3). Explaining the differences between various ovulation-promoting drugs.

(4). Evaluating the risk of drug use during pregnancy preparation and pregnancy and recommend therapeutic drugs.

(5). Informing and explaining to patients the drug administration methods, drug configuration methods, injection areas on the body, injection methods for ovulation-promoting drugs or luteal support drugs, etc.

(6). Informing patients of the dosage, course of treatment and withdrawal time of commonly used drugs for IVF.

(7). Monitoring and treatment of adverse drug reactions commonly used in IVF.

CQHCWC's Pharmacist Outpatient Clinic is scheduled to start receiving patients on Aug 24.
