As part of the "Beautiful Hospital" improvement program drive at the Chongqing Health Center for Women and Children (CQHCWC), sweeping improvements were recently introduced to its service facilities.
To date, CQHCWC has improved the cleanliness and comfort of its hospital toilets.
It has also improved its parking system and parking signs, turned over staff parking spaces to patients in need and has taken some other effective measures to solve the parking problem.
It has set up different special sections in the hospital for patients awaiting treatment, breast-feeding women and their children and for children's entertainment.

It has set up information desk in the outpatient hall on each ward. And it has installed a barrier free ramp at the outpatient entrance and the access road for the Emergency Department, so as to improve emergency response speeds.
The hospital is now fully covered by Wi-Fi. By setting up touch type self-service machines -- and launching the official WeChat app and website of the hospital -- many previously time-consuming things can now be done online by patients and their families.
These include the previously complicated task of navigating through the various hospital departments and asking about the results of medical examinations.
In addition, the CQHCWC has also developed an electronic medical card service.
This allows patients to complete the whole process of medical treatment -- such as appointment registrations, medical examinations, payments and collecting report forms with their mobile phones.
