The Chongqing Health Center for Women and Children (CQHCWC) in Southwest China's Chongqing held a series of themed activities on June 8-14 to promote energy saving, environmental protection and the patriotic public health campaign, CQHCWC officials said.
They said it attracted the participation of over 2,100 staff members, property management personnel and patients from the hospital.
During these activities, CQHCWC officials organized a meeting to increase knowledge about energy conservation and environmental protection – as well as waste classification – among staff members in the hospital.
The aim was to ensure that all employees realize the importance and necessity of energy conservation and the patriotic public health campaign.
Officials said the hospital used an LED screen and electronic vertical screen to play videos on energy conservation and environmental protection, waste classification and the patriotic health campaign. It also used brochures, display boards and other forms to popularize related knowledge.
In addition, the hospital staged a quiz game, to publicize the concept of energy conservation and emissions reduction, as well as a green life, to staff members and the public.
According to CQHCWC officials, the successful holding of this week-long activity has improved the sense of responsibility of hospital staff members and patients for energy conservation, environmental protection and healthy life.
