The Chongqing Health Center for Women and Children (CQHCWC) -- located in Southwest China's Chongqing -- held an online training on promoting standardized diagnosis and treatment of cervical precancerous lesions and application of colposcopy technology at grassroots medical institutions on May 23, according to CQHCWC officials.
As a part of Chongqing's appropriate health techniques promotions project, the online training attracted over 240 clinicians from the city's grassroots medical institutions.
A team of experts from the CQHCWC conducted online lectures and analysis and discussions.
According to CQHCWC officials, this promotion of appropriate health techniques is expected to improve the level of cervical disease diagnosis and treatment by primary physicians.
They said it will also play a positive role in continuously optimizing the quality of screening work for cervical cancer and breast cancer and ensuring women's health.
