CQHCWC wins the "Excellent Organization Award" for the National Public Welfare Tour of the China Cervical Cancer Prevention and Control Project in 2019

The 2019 national public welfare tour for the China Cervical Cancer Prevention and Control Project was launched in November 2018. About 20 public welfare tour stops were organized in Zhejiang, Tianjin, Chongqing, Harbin, Shanghai and other places.

The obstetrics and gynecology branch of the China Medical and Health International Exchange Promotion Association and the organizing committee of the cervical cancer prevention and control project held a themed activity in Chengdu, Sichuan province on November 8, 2019.

The Chongqing Health Center for Women and Children (CQHCWC) won the "Excellent Organization Award" for the National Public Welfare Tour of the China Cervical Cancer Prevention and Control Project in 2019.

Zhou Deping, chief physician of the cervical disease treatment center of CQHCWC, won the "Outstanding Contribution Award", and Yang Jun, chief physician, and Long Xin, deputy chief physician, as experts of the activity won the "Preaching Award".

The tour has improved women's awareness of cervical diseases, popularized knowledge relevant to their prevention, and promoted in-depth development of cervical cancer treatment. It aims to lay a solid foundation for the practical improvement of women's reproductive health.
