Chongqing ART Conference convenes in CQHCWC

The 21st Chongqing Conference on Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) was held by the Chongqing Institute of Reproduction and Genetics in the Chongqing Health Center for Women and Children (CQHCWC) in the southwestern city of China on September 20.
The Chongqing ART Conference has grown into a high-level academic meeting enjoying huge international popularity and great influence in the field of ART since it was first convened in 1999.
The conference this year drew the attendance of over 60 reproduction professionals from home and abroad as well as about 800 trainees. Zhang Hua, president of the CQHCWC and officials from subordinate departments of the commission also attended the opening ceremony.

During the meeting, participants held academic exchanges on ART covering artificial insemination, embryo culture, pre-implementation genetic screening and diagnosis, the application of artificial intelligent technology in embryo assessment and quality control.
Huang Guoning, a chief doctor from the CQHCWC, introduced the latest developments in laboratory in vitro fertilization (IVT) technology during a media meeting on the sidelines of the conference.
