The Chongqing Health Center for Women and Children (CQHCWC) held a gathering on the night of September 27 to mark the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China (PRC).
The event drew the attendance of Wang Jian, Party chief and vice-president of the CQHCWC; Zhang Hua, deputy Party chief and president of the CQHCWC; and employees and retirees from the medical institute.

Zhang presided over the gathering, while Wang gave an address.
During an interactive activity, six employees born in 1949, 1959, 1969, 1979, 1989 and 1999 shared their special stories and affection for the country in a parallel to national development. In addition, they performed I Love You, China, a popular patriotic chorus, with members of the CQHCWC's Leading Group and employee representatives.

Shortly afterwards, other shows such as choral performances, dancing and poetry recitations were presented as an expression of best wishes for the country's bright future and beautiful lives of the people. The performers showcased their positive images and readiness to fulfill personal missions in the new era.
After the gathering, medical workers said that the country has made glorious achievements under the leadership of the Communist Party of China since the establishment of the PRC in 1949. They added that they will continue with institutional reform in the medical sector, improve maternal and children's health service, and strive for higher achievements in the future.
