Chief physician Zhou Deping, female, is a member of the colposcopy and cervical lesions committee of the Obstetricians and Gynecologists Branch of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association, the China Cervical Cancer Prevention Organizing Committee, and the Chongqing breast cancer cervical cancer screening expert group. 

Zhou has been engaged in clinical work and teaching in obstetrics and gynecology for 35 years. In recent years, she has focused on the research of the diagnosis and treatment of lower reproductive tract infections and cervical lesions.

She has carried out clinical and scientific research and teaching on lower reproductive tract infections, cervical precancerous lesions, and screening, prevention and treatment of cervical cancer.

She participated in the national rural women's cervical cancer examination project launched by the the National Health Commission of the People's Republic of China (formerly the National Health and Family Planning Commission) for the technical guidance and operation training of cervical cancer screening in 40 districts and counties in Chongqing.

She was in charge of a sub-project of the National Science and Technology Support Program, a major livelihood project of the Chongqing Municipal Science and Technology Commission, and a number of scientific research activities of the Chongqing Municipal Health Commission (formerly the Chongqing Municipal Health and Family Planning Commission).

She has published more than 20 papers and won the Chongqing Scientific and Technological Achievement Award of the Chongqing Health and Family Planning Commission and the third prize for Scientific and Technological Progress Award of Chongqing municipality.

She participated in the "National Grassroots Reproductive Tract Infection Prevention Training Program" of the National Health Commission of the People's Republic of China (formerly Ministry of Health) and was awarded the title of "2012 Excellent Lecturer".
